Hi there, I’m Tom. For the best part of a decade, I've helped brands to purposefully grow and connect with their audiences in ways that matter and last. With a background spanning both agency and in-house strategy teams, I am a freelance brand strategy director with a focus in brand purpose and sustainability. I enjoy thinking through the big picture strategy, and then rolling up my sleeves to see the work through from idea to completion.
Beyond my freelance work, I’m the founder of Outsider - a change collective committed to building brands that matter. I’m also the person behind breakthrough brands - the newsletter exploring brand in the 21st Century.
